  • 500 g apple
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 50 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp or more salt

Instructions: Caramelized onion apple chutney

  • Heat the oil. Add sliced ​​onions and cook on low heat until they become caramelized and soft for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Add sugar and apple cider vinegar and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Then add lemon juice, mustard, cinnamon, curry, salt and chopped apple slices. Mix well and cook on medium – low heat until the apples start to dissolve, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Once the chutney is ready cool it down completely.
