Spicy baked edamame - healthy and tasty snack


The edamame soybean is delicious and rich in vegetable protein. This recipe creates a yummy and healthy appetizer: baked edamame beans. Crunchy outside, soft inside, with a hint of a spice from chili powder and curry.

  • 1.5 cup thewed edamame
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch (or more) chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp (or more) curry powder

Spicy baked edamame - healthy and tasty snack Directions

  1. In a bowl pour the previously thawed edamame. Add the oil and spices and mix well to completely cover the soybeans.

  2. Put on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 220°C for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
